LG joins the cloud party with the LG Cloud

Beating Samsung to the punch, LG has launched their own cloud offering – aptly but uncreatively named LG Cloud.

Just like Google Drive, it too comes with 5GB of free storage, and isn’t readily available for everyone just yet.

It’s only currently limited to the US and Korea.

But once it goes global, it won’t only be available for LG smartphone users, but also LG Smart TV and PC users can benefit from LG Cloud too. And to assure everyone will get only the best experience, the content will be compressed to better suite the device using it (i.e. high-res photos will be in a smaller format for phones). Neat, huh?

But yeah, unfortunately, it’s not out yet for majority of us to enjoy. Two thumbs down for its limited release.

You can, however, get to know it better right here, right now.

How?

Just head on over here, and hope their FAQs section has all the answers you’re looking for.
