After a brief wait, the LG Optimus L5 is now also available in the Philippines.

This Ice Cream Sandwich-powered ‘droid is retailing for just Php10,990 and, as a special treat for early adopters, will come bundled with a free jelly case if you buy one from a participating retail outlet this month of July.

At this price, the Optimus L5 goes toe-to-toe with the faster 1GHz-powered dual SIM Ice Cream Sandwich-runnin’ Lenovo P700 and HTC’s entry-level ICS ‘droid, the HTC Desire C.
