Aside from the Optimus G, LG also added a new addition to their L series – the LG Optimus L9.
As is the case with LG’s other Optimus L ‘droids, style is the name of the game here. But make no mistake, the Optimus L9 isn’t all just about looks. It’s got some neat technical treats too – a 4.7-inch touchscreen, 1GHz dual-core processor, 1GB RAM, 5-megapixel cam, Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich, and a 2150 mAh battery to power this baby while on the go.
Needless to say, this one’s the new big bad-ass ‘droid in the L family, replacing the Optimus L7.
They’re still mum though on its availability and pricing, but taking a cue from the Optimus L ‘droids out now in the Philippines, my guesstimate price for the Optimus L9 is around Php18-20K.
At that price, you might be better off with the slightly less powerful but bigger and cheaper Lenovo S880. But yeah, let’s wait and see first, shall we?
