Heads up, Nokia Lumia users!
Nokia has just updated two of its Nokia-exclusive apps for Windows Phone – Nokia Maps and Nokia Drive.
Nokia Maps is now at version 2.5. In its latest form, you can now plan and edit routes, get live traffic updates, and view Groupon deals within your area. Okay, so those last two features aren’t available locally, so it’s really just the first one, along with stability and performance improvements, that Pinoy Lumia users can look forward to with this updated version of Maps for Windows Phone.
Nokia Drive, meanwhile, has been bumped up to version 3.0. Automatic Day/Night map mode and Favorites which can be pinned to the Start screen are the new treats that can be found in the newest version of Nokia’s nifty turn-by-turn navigation app for Windows Phone.
To update, head on to the Marketplace, tap Nokia Collection, and either tap on the number of updates available at the bottom or the individual apps that need updating.
Oh, and before I forget, I’ve also finally managed to download the Camera Extras app. Just a little FYI for those of you who, like me, have tried searching for it before in the Marketplace but just got disappointed by its non-appearance.
