Right on schedule, Mac OS X Mountain Lion is now available at the Mac App Store for the uber-affordable price of just $19.99 (or Php843, based on current exchange rates).
Download Mac OS X Mountain Lion here.
The download is a shade above 4GB, so you do need some free time at your disposal if you want to download and install this in one go.
And heading the advice of Macworld, it’s best to free up at least 15GB of HDD space on your Mac to avoid any hitches in the install process. Better to be safe than sorry, right?
But I guess the best advice I’ve read so far is to actually wait it out a bit before the first wave of feedback comes in. Don’t get me wrong. Apple’s OS X releases are pretty stable, but you have to admit, they’re still not perfect. And besides, I’m pretty sure Apple’s servers are being hammered right now with the huge influx of users wanting to be among the first to get a taste of Mountain Lion. After all, a little patience never hurt anyone, and in this particular, it might actually turn out to be beneficial for everyone.
So my question to you is, which camp do you belong to – the early adopters? Or the ones who are willing to wait it out a bit?
I go for the latter. How about you?
