MacBook Pro with Retina Display, new MacBook Air, MacBook Pro: Pricing, specs and availability
For those of you interested in the new Retina Display MacBook Pro, you’ll still have to do some waiting before it hits local stores. But thank God for the Internet, ‘cause you now ditch the waiting and order one online.
How much?
The 15-inch MacBook Pro with Retina Display is retailing for – ready? – Php107,990 at the Philippines Apple Online Store, making it the new cream of the crop of the MacBook Pro family. And that’s not even the top-of-the-line model yet. That’s the pricing for the2.3GHz quad-core Intel Core i7 with 256GB SSD.
The 15-inch MacBook Pro with Retina Display powered by a 2.6GHz Intel Core i7 quad-core processor with 512MB SSD is going for Php137,990. Ouch!
But there’s good news here. With the arrival of the near MacBook Air-thin 15-inch MacBook Pro, the entire MacBook Air line got a price drop. It’s not that much for the entry-level 11-inch MacBook Air, only Php2K, but for the rest, it’s pretty significant, as high as Php9K.
