Editing an image or photo with a caption is easy breezy on a PC/Mac, but it isn’t exactly a walk in the park on an iPhone. That is, if you’re not using Markee.
Markee, the first app offering from consulting and software development startup group Studist in Tokyo, is a free app that allows you to add arrows, shapes and text to photos and existing images that are stored on your iPhone. It’s perfect for those who use their iPhones to edit images for presentations or who want to highlight a specific text or part of an image that’ll be sent via email.
Worried you might make a mistake and ruin your prized photo? Don’t worry. Markee comes complete with undo and redo buttons too. Heck, if you want to start from scratch, there’s a Trash button that’ll quickly delete all the changes you’ve made to the pic.
And don’t think it’s all just about adding stuff. You can also do basic image editing with Markee too, such as cropping and rotating.
And don’t forget, Markee is completely free to download. although you will need iOS 5 to run it. It’s not universal, but it’ll work just fine on the iPad, although it won’t take full advantage of the iPad’s more generously sized display.
Download Markee here.
