We’ve already talked about Microsoft Office 2013 before. If you missed it, you can check it out here.
If you’re too busy to make the jump, Office 2013 is basically the touch-optimized version of MS Office, complete with cloud support.
With that out of the way, here’s the most important part of this news post – pricing.
Microsoft Office 2013 is retailing for just Php3,499. That’s for the traditional boxed set.
If you want the subscription-based version , Office 365 Home Premium, it’s going for – wait for it – Php3,499 too!
So what’s the diff between the two?
Office 365 allows you to install it to a maximum of 10 devices, 5 PCs/Macs and 5 tablets. The downside with this one is it’s a yearly subscription. Meaning, you’ll have to pay nearly Php3.5K every year to be able to use this new Office suite on all your devices. The other upside here, though, is you’ll be getting 20GB of free additional SkyDrive storage and 60 minutes of Skype world calling per month.
With Office 2013, you’ll only have to pay once but you can only install it on one PC.
So, which one will you be getting? Or have you graduated from Office already?
