Heads up, jailbreak aficionados!
There’s a new redsn0w jailbreak out, but before you pop the champagne and start partyin’ like it’s the end of the world, we’ll burst your bubble right now. This isn’t the iOS 5.1 untethered jailbreak everyone’s waiting on pins and needles for.
This updated redsn0w iOS 5.1 jailbreak just fixes a minor issue with Windows Explorer and its handling of filenames with leading slashes.
If you’re one of those Windows users having problems with this, then update away. Get redsn0w 0.9.10b8b for Windows here.
For everyone else, feel free to update too, though as Redmondpie reports, there’s really nothing significantly new here for you to look forward to. Get redsn0w 0.9.10b8b for Mac here.
