It looks like the Samsung-Google event will finally push through this coming week. Phandroid has secured a copy of the invite for the said event, which is now slated to take place in Hong Kong on the 19th at 10:00 in the morning.
Many are looking forward to this event for the newest Nexus phone – the Nexus Prime, now being called the Galaxy Nexus – and, of course, the debut of the latest iteration of Android, Ice Cream Sandwich.
And if you’re still doubting the authenticity of this invite, just head on over to the YouTube channel posted in the invite, and you’ll see a banner there confirming the said event and a video on cue titled Calling on all Ice Cream Sandwich Lovers.
If that isn’t solid evidence we’ll be seeing Ice Cream Sandwich on October 19, I don’t know what it is.
So if you’re not doing anything on the 19th (that’s this coming Wednesday), do check back out that YouTube channel again on that day as they’ll be streaming the whole event live there.
