We can’t verify this bit of news on our own. So we’re spreading the word on this one for you guys out there – namely those with a Nokia 700, Nokia 701, and Nokia 603 – could check it out for yourselves.
What are we talking about?
It’s none other than the Nokia Belle Feature Pack 1 update they announced last month and promised will be coming to the three aforementioned Nokia handsets.
Nokianesia came out with this bit of news over on Twitter. Nokianesia isn’t affiliated with Nokia in any sort of way. But they are, however, into anything and everything that’s Nokia. So it’s not surprising they’re one of the first who came out with the heads up on Belle FP1.
What’s there to get excited about in this FP1 update?
You’ll be getting 20 new widgets here, a better browser, a revised notification area, Dolby Digital Plus and Dolby Headphone, and most important of all, a speed bump in processor speed – from 1GHz to 1.3GHz. And yes, that includes the Nokia 603 too, according to feedback received by GSMArena.
You can check for this update either via your phone’s Software Update tool or on your PC through Nokia Suite.
To know whether you’ve got FP1 installed already, your software version should be 112.xx.xxxx.
Updated already? How are you liking Nokia Belle FP 1 so far? Enjoying it? Yes? No?
