Sorry, Nokia Lumia 610 users. No Skype for you guys.

Not anymore, at least.

You can choose who to lay the blame on this one – Nokia or Skype. Skype, for not a making an app that doesn’t work on ALL Windows Phone devices, or Nokia, for churning out a technically sub-par phone that doesn’t meet Skype’s minimum hardware requirements (at least 512MB RAM).

But yeah, finger pointing won’t do you guys any good.

If you were able to download Skype, well, good for you. Based from what we hear, it actually works on the Lumia 610 even with just 256MB RAM. Not perfectly, but it works.

If it’s only now you’ve decided to try out Skype on the Nokia Lumia 610, it’s too late for you guys. Skype has already been pulled from the Marketplace to prevent Nokia Lumia 610 owners from further downloading the mobile VoIP app for Windows Phone devices.
