Nokia Lumia 625 joins the Windows Phone 8 party

And so it is. Another Nokia Lumia has just joined Espoo’s Windows Phone 8 party. Ladies and geeks, we present to you the Nokia Lumia 625.

This is a 4.7-incher with a WVGA (201ppi) resolution display, a 5-megapixel main cam, VGA shooter on the front, 8GB internal storage (expandable via microSD card), powered by a 2000mAh battery, and a 1.2GHz dual-core processor with 512MB RAM under the hood.

RAM size aside, it’s a pretty decent mid-level WP 8 device.

That said, its 512MB RAM could be a deal breaker. Remember, there are RAM requirements when it comes to WP 8 apps. So if you want to get the most apps, you should get one with at least 1GB of RAM.

Anyway, let’s get back to the Lumia 625. This Lumia’s scheduled to begin shipping in Q3 with an estimated retail price of 220 Euros. Converted to local currency, that’s roughly around Php12.5K. Not bad, eh?

We’ll have more on this bad boy once Nokia Philippines announces it.

Full press release here.
