It’s no secret that both the Nokia Lumia 800 and Nokia Lumia 610 are both Philippine-bound.
What was still a bit of mystery was how much both Windows Phones will cost sans subsidy from Globe or any other carrier.
Operative word here is was… because it’s a mystery no more. We finally have that info for you guys!
The Nokia Lumia 610 will be retailing for less than Php11K. SRP of the entry-level Windows Phone-powered Lumia 610 is just Php10,980.
The Nokia Lumia 800, meanwhile, is priced at Php23,500. You can, however, get the Lumia 900’s smaller twin sibling for free on Globe beginning at Plan 1799.
Both Nokia Windows Phone Lumia offerings are scheduled to hit select Nokia Stores and other retail outlets nationwide before April ends.
Given what these two have to offer, they’re pretty competitively priced. So pricing won’t be much of an issue for these two Lumia goodies. The biggest obstacle for Nokia here, in my opinion, would be in pushing Windows Phone as a viable platform. It will be a tough sell for old dogs (and even young ones) who’ve grown so accustomed to Symbian, but thankfully, both the Nokia Lumia 800 and Lumia 610 look good, which, for many people, is an even better selling point than specs or platform.
So, how about it Nokianatics? Ready for the big Windows Phone jump?
