Nokia’s “iDoalotmore” Symbian campaign thumbs its nose at Apple, we wince
We all know Nokia isn’t doing very well these days. But is there really any excuse for its latest marketing strategem for the floundering Symbian OS?
Nokia India, as revealed by Phone Arena, has just placed a new ad in the latest issue of the Times of India that claims that Symbian is far more capable than iOS thanks to the presence of Nokia Maps, an HD camera and video, and other such nifty features. In a word, “iDoalotmore”.
Wince-worthy because of its naffness – and not least because iOS has proven superior to Symbian in so many other arenas – but hey, you can’t blame Nokia India for trying, right?
Still, though, they’re going to have to try a lot harder than that if they want to try and counter Symbian’s slide.
