WOW! Surprise, surprise! The day we thought would never come has finally arrived!
The Philippines iTunes Store is now offering music! And not just music, but movies and books too! All now available for everyone’s downloading pleasure!
And with this unexpected but welcome turn of events, iTunes Match is now also available for every Pinoy iTunes and iOS user to enjoy as well.
Do note, though, the current collection of movies, music and books is still a far cry from the ones available in the US. Heck, even the OPM collection is pitifully limited considering this is the Philippines iTunes Store.
Nonetheless, the fact that iTunes Philippines finally expanding its services to accommodate more than just apps is good news nonetheless. Whatever shortcomings it has right now, I’m sure (or at least I hope) will eventually be addressed in the months to come.
