PlayStation Vita System Update 1.80 now live

PlayStation Vita owners have a “hefty” new system update that just went live a couple of hours ago.

System Update 1.80 is now available for uploading via wifi, or by connecting your Vita to your PS3 and updating from there.

The update weighs in at 102MB, and adds a new Cross-Controller feature that lets you use the Vita as a controller for your PS3, adds the Vita controls to some of the applications on the portable console and several other different features. Among the most awaited additions is the ability to download and play PSone Classics on the console.
