iPad cases comes in many forms; stick-ons, folio, back casing, sleeves, you name it! While some companies excel at creating a specific type of case, charity organization Whateverittakes.org has come up with the Premium Ultra Slim Shield Pack, a stick-on/back casing hybrid for the New iPad.
A gadget’s “sexiness” is usually gauged by its thinness, but considering how expensive electronics are nowadays, most people would rather compromise the form factor of their gadgets and use a protective case to safeguard their investment. The Premium Ultra Slim Shield Pack by Whateverittakes.org looks to provide a layer (or two) of skin to protect the New iPad from unwanted scratches without having to add a substantial amount of bulk, and by all accounts, it successfully does.
This has got to be the most value packed product that Whateverittakes.org has put forward. Inside the packaging is a screen protector, a designer back sticker and a transparent back shell casing. Put all these three together and the iPad’s fully covered from scratches and minor bumps. Not exactly offering the most protection, but the Premium Ultra Slim Shield does add minimal weight and thickness to an otherwise heavy and semi-thick tablet.
As per usual, the Premium Ultra Slim Shield carries a unique doodle from a celebrity which is beautifully printed on the on the back sticker portion of the whole ensemble. I got the Cold Play designed back sticker and it looks absolutely great on my New iPad. The back sticker by itself already offers good scratch protection and having the option to attach the transparent back shell just adds another layer of protection. The best thing about the the whole pack is that I can use the back sticker on one iPad then us the transparent back shell on another iPad. It’s like getting two protective back casings for the price of one!
The Premium Ultra Slim Shield Pack from Whateverittakes.org is truly a value packed product as it is what one might consider as a good protective starter kit for the iPad. The back sticker is well made and the nice designs donated by various personalities adds a ton of attitude to the product. The transparent back casing is pretty neat as it can be used to reinforce the protection offered by the back sticker or can be used on another iPad.
