So have you seen The Dark Knight Rises yet? Man, the theaters have been just packed over the weekend. At this rate it’s likely to quickly beat The Avengers in no time. I’m thinking it’ll be a great movie for us Technoodlers to watch (again) together, if only to discuss certain key issues like:
- Does it stand up to repeat viewings?
- Did you understand everything that Bane just said?
- Does it really deserve its (currently) 9.2 rating on IMDB?
- Isn’t Anne Hathaway just such an inspired choice or what?
- Shouldn’t Leonardo de Caprio be here too to save the Titanic?
- If you were a rich Gotham City resident with your own yacht or private plane, then you had nothing to worry about?
For my part, I thought it was a phenomenal accomplishment. But people really shouldn’t bring kids along. They won’t get 90 percent of it and they’ll probably doze off for much of the show. This is not The Avengers. This is an adult’s comic book movie.
