Asus is kicking off the new year the best way we know how – with a price drop on three of their laptops!

What used to retail for Php27,995, you can now buy either the bare Intel Core i3-powered K43SD or Windows 7-preinstalled Intel Pentium dual-core twin for just Php25,995.

These two are virtual carbon copies of each other. Both feature a 14-inch HD Color Shine LED display, comes with 2GB of RAM and NVIDIA GeForce GT610M graphics.

The diff between the two is that the Intel Core i3 version sports a 750GB HDD, is available in three colored iterations, but doesn’t come with any OS. The dual-core K43SD, meanwhile, comes preinstalled with Windows 7 Home Basic, but is only available in two colored versions with a smaller HDD (320GB).

If you like an Intel Core i3 under the hood and prefer 750GB of onboard storage, then the last K series option is perfect for you. It’s the mashup of the two we just talked about. This one runs on a 2.3GHz Intel Core i3 processor, with 2GB of RAM, a 750GB HDD, and Windows 7 Home Basic as its OS. This used to go for Php30,995, but now, it’s retailing for just Php28,995.

And as an added treat, Asus will also be throwing in a free laptop bag too!
