First, it was the Optimus L7. Now, it’s the LG Optimus L5‘s turn to get a price reduction en route to the mad holiday shopping season.
So, how much does the Optimus L5 now cost?
From a high of Php10,990, the Ice Cream Sandwich-powered 4-inch Optimus L5 is now retailing for just Php8,990. That’s two grand slashed from its previous price tag.
For Php8.9K, the ZTE Blade III, though, is looking like the better buy. It’s retailing at the same price but features a faster processor (1GHz vs 800MHz) and slightly juicier battery (1600mAh vs 1500mAh). But yeah, that’s just on paper. The real test is in performance, which, sadly, we’re in no position to comment on since none of us here have tried either of the two ‘droids.
