Promo Alert! WD TV Live + My Book Live 2TB for less than Php9K!

So here’s what’s at stake if you choose to avail of this promo:

  • WD TV Live and My Book Live 2TB for Php8,990 (regular bundle price Php11,990)
  • WD TV Live Air and My Book Live 3TB for Php9,990 (regular bundle price Php13,990)

Plus, you also get a free pillow blanket, perfect for this bed weather we’ve been experiencing for the past couple of days.

Pillow blanket! I don’t know what it is, but I want it!

Ahem. So what’s the difference between the standard TV Live and the Air version, you may ask?

Well, the TV Live is primarily a media server, which means it comes with Wi-Fi and connectors for your monitor. Use it to watch online videos or stuff from your networked or USB devices. We’re not quite sure what the diff is between the regular variant of the TV Live and the Air, but that’s basically what you’ll be getting with the TV Live.

The My Book Live? It’s a hard drive for data server purposes.

Note that the WD TV Live doesn’t come with built-in storage. But then if you get this bundle you can hook up the My Book Live to your TV Live wirelessly (or wired via a router) and you’re good to go. That’s the downside to the My Book Live – it doesn’t come with a USB port option for direct connection to the TV Live.

Oh, and before I forget, Western Digital is giving away a soft pouch freebie for My Passport 1TB/2TB buyers too, or top-up Php500 for a WD Nomad case for better protection while on the go.

You’ve got up until October 15 to avail of these offers.
