Quickie Review: Whateverittakes.org Premium Tough Shield (2012 edition) for iPhone 4S

We do love the charity organization that is whateverittakes.org. They create awesome cases with which when purchased, a part of the proceeds go to a good cause.

We’ve reviewed their cases before. But with the coming of the new year, whateverittakes.org has decided to come out with new designs of their iPhone 4S Premium Tough Shield Cases. For those who have no idea how these Premium Tough Shield fare, check out our previous review.

Unlike the Tough Shields from last year, these 2012 models have the certificate of authenticity printed on the inside of the case

In a nutshell, the whateverittakes.org Premium Tough Shields are custom-molded iPhone 4S cases which are made of durable plastics. The colorful designs are actually printed inside of the cases, preventing it from being scratched or discolored through use. Even after months of use, the colors and quality of artwork remains almost the same as the day it was bought. As far as thickness goes, the Premium Tough Shield is fairly thin and doesn’t add that much bulk to the iPhone.

Who doesn't love Green Day?

The designs on the cases are donated by various international artists and celebrities who gave whateverittakes.org free reign in using it in their products. The new designs are definitely eye catching, and the mix of the transparent sides with the full-colored backing of the case makes for an attractive combination.

Cutouts for all the ports and buttons are aligned properly. Fits both the iPhone 4 and iPhone 4S
