With the amount of gadgets, cables and other doodads I own, it has been a constant struggle keeping my office desk clean and organized. Judging from how my desk looks, it’s obvious that it’s a losing battle. Luckily for me, a friend introduced me to the Cordies Executive, which has been a big boon in my quest for an uncluttered workspace.
Made by the collective brains at quirky.com, the Cordies Executive was built with organization and simplicity in mind. Made of an aluminum base with a rubberized bottom, the Cordies Executive is guaranteed to stay in place on any flat surface. The top part is made up of plastic mounds that create grooves with which various items of different thickness can be slid into. The two middle grooves are the widest, with the others being slightly less wide.
In my testing, I’ve managed to fit in my iPhone 5, Xperia Z, Galaxy S4, Kindle Paper White and iPad 3 on the grooves. So with the Cordies Executive alone, my gadgets, charging cables, earphones, callings cards and IDs have found a neat home for me to bunch them up.
The beauty of the Cordies Executive that while it doesn’t take up much space, it can hold a bunch of items with ease. I was quite thrilled when my iPad 3 (that’s fitted with a case) easily slid into the middle groove of the Cordies Executive. I’m really liking the Cordies Executive. Charging my gadgets on my office desk is now an uncluttered affair — plus my cables, calling cards and whatnot has a place where I can neatly tuck them into.
The Cordies Executive is a simple, unobtrusive accessory that’s quite useful and easy to use. It’s well designed and looks elegant enough that it won’t look awkward on a CEO’s desk. What’s more, the Cordies Executive carries a price tag of Php 995 that’s quite easy on the wallet.
