So, is the mythical iOS 4.3.1 untethered jailbreak finally going to be released?
Well, Dev Team hasn’t announced an ETA (when have they ever, anyway?), but team member MuscleNerd’s tweet openly suggests a Sunday (US time) release for the new version of their redsn0w and/or PwnageTool jailbreak software. The much-anticipated tools will (hopefully) let users jailbreak their iDevices running on 4.3.1, save for the iPad 2. Currently, iOS 4.3.1 can only be jailbroken tethered, which means that your iDevice will revert to its unjailbroken state every time it’s rebooted. So unless you find it absolutely necessary to jailbreak your iDevice right now, we’d suggest waiting for the Dev Team’s “Sunday Funday“.

Unthered, come to daddy! Seriously, it (fully tethered JB) can be such a pain.
Volts, I know right! So glad redsn0w’s here! *rushes to restore, then JB*
