Back when we reviewed the Cherry Mobile W900, a.k.a. the “Dragon phone,” we were impressed, not only by its performance, but more so by its sub-Php10K price. But now it’s retailing close to Php15K. At that price, there’s no question you can get better phones out there.

What exactly are you getting for Php6K?

Ok, so maybe that last bit about the microSD card really isn’t a come-on since the unit we reviewed came with an 8GB microSD card. But hey, with a retail price that’s been slashed by more than half of its SRP, that’s not such a huge setback.

Bought 2 from the store in greenhills theater mall. I was the first customer when it opened at 10am. Other customers after me would have to wait til lunchtime because the store only had 2 in stock. I also got the 2 8gb micro sd cards instead of the 4gb for the promo and screen protectors as freebies.
