Samsung begins rolling out Exynos exploit fix, Heals ‘Sudden Death’ plague too?
Remember the Exynos exploit we warned you about last December?
Well, here’s good news – Samsung’s rolled out an update that plugs that particular security hole. Better yet, it also addresses the ‘sudden death’ issue we recently talked about too!
Okay, now here’s the not-so-good news – it’s only currently available in the UK, and that bit about the ‘sudden death’ fix, it’s only Sammobile’s sources who confirmed this.
That said, it should only be a matter of time now before this Exynos exploit patch becomes available to all Galaxy and on-Galaxy ‘droids across the globe. And based on its track record, Sammobile’s probably correct too that this update does away with the ‘sudden death’ issue plaguing a number of Galaxy S III units right now.
But yeah, I know. It’s still better to hear from the horse’s mouth, which, I’m sure, will happen soon enough.
For now, just treat this as a heads up that an update’s coming your way, and one that’ll potentially hit two birds with one stone.
