Samsung Galaxy Music announced: The ‘droid for you music lovers out there

Meet the newest addition to Sammy’s 2012 Galaxy line-up – the Samsung Galaxy Music.

Not too sure on what processor this baby runs on, but what we do know is that it packs a 3-megapixel fixed focus cam ‘round the back, a 3-inch touchscreen on the front, 512MB RAM and 4GB onboard storage under the hood, Bluetooth 3.0 and WiFi for wireless connectivity, and runs on Ice Cream Sandwich as its OS (upgradable, according to Samsung, to Jelly Bean). So yeah, it’s pretty much your average entry-level ‘droid.

But here’s where it gets better. Well, sort of. This one’s got a dedicated music key for quick access to the your tunes, dual front-facing stereo speakers, Sound Alive and SRS support and, get this, a built-in FM antenna. Yes! Finally, someone decided to do that.

We don’t know yet though if this’ll be released in the Philippines and how much it’ll cost, but given its meager specs, I’m pretty sure this’ll be on the more affordable side of the pricing spectrum.
