It’s official, boys and girls. The current Galaxy Note family now has a middle child, offering consumers out there a third option for their Samsung phablet needs.
Meet the Samsung Galaxy Note 8.
This 8-inch Note rocks a 1.6GHz quad-core processor under the hood with 2GB of RAM, a 5-megapixel cam ‘round the back, a 1.3MP shooter on the front, dual-band (2.4Hz and 5GHz) WiFi connectivity, Bluetooth 4.0, Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean as its OS, a juicy 4600mAh battery as its power source, and an enhanced S Pen which you can now use to control the menu/back buttons on this new Note.
No pricing yet, but they did announce that the Galaxy Note 8 will begin its global tour sometime this 2nd quarter. The Philippines wasn’t specifically mentioned, but given Samsung’s got a strong following locally, we’re pretty sure this 8-incher will find its way to local stores, officially or otherwise.
In the meantime, you can check out its full press release here.
