Well, that sure didn’t take long. After being announced just the other day, we now have confirmation the Samsung Galaxy S Advance will hit Philippines stores this month. THIS month!

SRP of the Samsung Galaxy S Advance is Php22,990.

We’re not quite sure though if this price is for the 8GB version or the 16GB model, but I’ll be damned if this is this is for the 8GB variant.

UPDATE: That price is for the 8GB version.

Just to recap, the Galaxy S Advance sports 4-inch Super AMOLD touchscreen, a 5-megapixel AF cam with LED flash ‘round the back, a 1.3-MP shooter on the front, with a 1GHz dual-core chip at the helm complemented by 768MB RAM.

My two cents – the Galaxy S Advance is decent, but for Php23K, you’re better off with the Galaxy S II instead. If you know where to look, you’ll just need a few thousand more, and you’ll be getting yourself one heck of a phone that’s guaranteed to be getting Ice Cream Sandwich soon.

Now, if the Galaxy S Advance were to be priced somewhere under the Php20K mark, that would be a completely different story altogether.
