Samsung Galaxy S Duos officially announced, Global roll out begins in September!
What else can we say that the title already hasn’t? The Samsung Galaxy S Duos is now official.
Not that there’s anything really new in the official press release that hasn’t already been revealed before. It’s just — well — official. The 4-inch display, 5-megapixel cam, front-facing VGA cam, 4GB onboard storage, Android Ice Cream Sandwich and 1GHz processor are all still there.
So why are we even talking about this then?
Well, unlike before, we now have a roll-out sched for this dual-SIM Galaxy phone. The Samsung Galaxy S Duos will be hitting stores in Europe starting September and will head to other markets thereafter.
So yeah, it’s not a exactly the most detailed rollout sched, but it’s a more definite sched, nonetheless.
As for pricing, that, and its Philippine availability, is something we’ll just look have to look forward to, hopefully, it the not too distant future. But given its meager specs, I’m pretty sure this one won’t even make it past Php15K mark.
Head on over to the Samsung Galaxy S Duos page for the full press release.
