Love the Galaxy S III look but wished it were more affordable?
Well, looks like you’re in luck as Samsung has just announced the virtual twin of their Android Superphone – the Galaxy S Duos – and though we still don’t have its pricing, based on its specs, we’re pretty sure this one will definitely be more on the affordable than their flagship ‘droid.
The Galaxy S Duos, as you may have probably already guessed by now thanks to its name, is a dual SIM phone. Compared to the S III, this one sports a smaller touchscreen (4-inch vs 4.8-inch), a modest main cam (5MP vs 8-MP), a VGA (vs 1.9MP) secondary cam on the front, less onboard storage (4GB vs 16GB), with a slower 1GHz (vs 1.4GHz quad-core) processor under the hood complemented by 512MB (vs 1GB) RAM.
So yeah, apart from Ice Cream Sandwich and its near identical aesthetics, the Galaxy S III and Galaxy S Duos are two completely different ‘droids from each other.
Still no word, though, if and when this Android will be released in Philippines. So for now, just treat this as a heads up that Sammy’s got a new dual SIM ‘droid out, and feel free to add it to your potential-to-watch-out-for list.

A dual sim smart phone? Oh gosh! I’ve been waiting for this. I mean, I saw the article regarding the HTC but if it’s from Samsung… Oh dear. My wallet.
