A Samsung spokesperson reportedly disclosed the bit of good news to them.
But we must caution you, do still take this bit of news with your usual grain of salt. Yes, it’s highly possible this is spot on. That said, looking back at recent history, off the record, anonymous tidbits such as this one has an equal chance of being erroneous as well.
And let’s be fair. All, or at the very least most, Galaxy S III owners should get a taste of Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean first before they begin seeding this update to S II users, right? After all, the Android 4.1.2 update for the S III has officially been announced already, and this one for the S II hasn’t even been formally acknowledge yet by the Korean handset maker juggernaut.
