The wait is finally over, Galaxy S III users!
Jelly Bean for locally purchased Galaxy S III smartphones is now finally live in the Philippines. This update intros Google Now, a new Notifications bar, better performance thanks to Project Butter, but still doesn’t come with the neat Multi-View split screen action Note 2 users are currently enjoying now. I believe that’ll come as a separate firmware update once everybody gets their fill of Jelly Bean goodness.
You can update either over-the-air (OTA) directly on your phone or via Samsung KIES (Windows only).
So, how about it Galaxy S III users – have you updated to Jelly Bean already? How are you liking it so far? Chime in your thoughts below.
