We know the Samsung Galaxy S III will be available free on SMART Unli Data Plan 2000, and on Globe, will be free on Plan 2499 and above. But what if you don’t want to sign-up on a new plan? How much will the Samsung Galaxy S III cost sans a carrier contract?
If you asked us a week ago, we wouldn’t have an answer ready for you guys. But that was a week ago. Today is a completely different story altogether as Samsung has now officially launched their 4.8-inch-touchscreen-packing Ice Cream Sandwich-powered Android in the country.
And with the grand arrival of Samsung’s newest Galaxy S treat in the Philippines, we now also have its contract-free pricing. SRP of the Samsung Galaxy s III is – ready? – Php32,990.
Pricey? You betcha! But just to remind you folks, that’s also the same price its quad-core Android rival, the HTC One X, debuted at last month. So it really shouldn’t be the least bit surprising the Galaxy S III is retailing at the same price point.
So now that all the cards are out on the table, there’s only question left that needs answering– are you getting a Samsung Galaxy S III?
