Rumors are a dime a dozen, but this new one regarding the new Galaxy’s specs looks as legit as it gets.
Slashgear has gotten a copy of the benchmarking app, AnTuTu, reportedly used to test the Galaxy S III, and apart from the impressive benchmark scores it holds, it also confirms some of the leaked specs we’ve been hearing Samsung’s new flagship ‘Droid could offer very soon.
Assuming it won’t go under the knife for some last minute modifications, here’s what the app revealed as to what the Galaxy S III’s got under (and on top of) the hood:
- Exynos 4212 1.4GHz processor
- 1GB RAM
- 4.7-inch 1280 x 720 resolution touchscreen
- 12-megapixel main camera
- 2-megapixel front-facing camera
- Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich OS
Not bad. It certainly looks worthy of a new flagship device.
But the question still remains – is the leaked Samsung smartphone we saw last week the Galaxy S III that’ll be unveiled next week?
