For those of you who have held out this long waiting for the next breed of Samsung Galaxy Tab tablets to arrive, the wait is now finally over!
Well, not actually. We still don’t know if the Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) and Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1) are already available in stores, but what we do know is how much these bad boys will cost when they eventually do hit stores, if, in case, they’re still not out yet.
So grab a cold beer, sit back and relax as we present to you the pricing of the Galaxy Tab 2 line here in the Philippines:
Not bad, right?
But not at all that surprising given these really don’t have anything new to offer, except for its Ice Cream Sandwich OS and a slightly new chassis design. In fact, the Galaxy Tab 7.7 and Tab 7.0 Plus are better options than the Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) since these two come with an autofocus 3-megapixel main cam and a 2-megapixel shooter on the front (vs fixed-focus 3MP cam on the back, VGA camera on the front). So yeah, it’s literally a step forward and two steps back for Samsung with these Android tablet treats.
But for those who don’t mind the drawbacks, these second-gen Galaxy Tab offerings of Sammy should be a welcome treat, thanks to the right pricing.
