Samsung outs more WiFi Smart Cameras in the Philippines

WiFi’s not really the biggest come-on for digital cameras yet, but that’s not stopping Samsung from releasing more WiFi-enabled digicams in the local market.

In fact, Sammy’s just launched not one, not two, but three new WiFi-souped up Smart Cameras locally.

Actually, the first one, we’ve already talked about – the Samsung DV300F. This one’s the 2View cam made extra special with WiFi connectivity. SRP is Php9,990.

If you can afford to spend a few more thousand bucks, you can go for the Samsung WB150F. This baby’s a 14.2-megapixel cam with 18x optical zoom, a 24mm f/3.2 Schneider Kreuznach lens, a 3-inch LCD display, 720p HD video recording capabilities, manual mode, and is available in white. Yes, that last bit matters for some people. SRP is Php11,990.

For Php20K, you can go all out with the Samsung WB850F. This one sports a 16-MP CMOS sensor with 21x optical zoom, a 3-inch AMOLED display, GPS, and can record 1080p HD videos to boot. SRP for the Samsng WB850F is Php19,990.

Here’s a wacky promo vid for Samsung’s Smart Cameras, which also pretty much gives you a rundown of what to expect from the WB150F in particular:

So, any of these tickle your fancy?
