We told you it was coming, and now, it’s finally here. The newest Nexus handset, the LG-made Nexus 4, is now available on SMART. Available for pre-order, that is.
Hop on over here to pre-order yours today.
The 4.7-inch Nexus is free on LTE Plan Unlidata Plan 2000 and Unlidata Plan 3000. You can also get it free on Unlidata Plan 1500 if you’re willing to commit yourself to a 30-month lock-in period. If not, you’ll have to fork over Php4K to get the Nexus 4.
Still not word , however, on when it’ll actually hit the market, but it being up for pre-order is a good sign it won’t be that long now before this new quad-core ‘droid goes public.
Another fresh-off-the-oven device that’s also coming to SMART soon is the Windows Phone 8-powered HTC 8X. Just like the Nexus 4, this one’s free on Unlidata Plan 3000. Get it free on Unlidata Plan 2000 if you lock yourself up to a 30-month plan or pay up Php4K for the HTC 8X. It’ll cost Php8K on Unlidata Plan 1500.
Pre-ordering for the HTC 8X, unfortunately, is closed already. On the bright side, though, that probably means its release is just around the corner.

UPDATE: It appears that SMART’s pre-order page for the Nexus 4 made an error in the listing of plans where you can get the new Nexus phone for free. It won’t be available free on LTE Plan 2000, but instead, it’ll be free on Unlidata Plan 2000. Made the necessary corrections in the post.

It’s free on LTE Plan 2000? Wait, the Nexus 4 doesn’t have LTE right?
Yes, you’re absolutely right. The Nexus 4 doesn’t come with LTE connectivity. Checked the pre-roder page again again, and it does list it as available on LTE Plan 2000. But upon checking SMART’s other page for the Nexus 4, it states there it’ll be free on Unlidata Plan 2000. Given the circumstances, I’m guessing they made a mistake in listing the LTE Plan on the pre-order page.
