Hot off the heels of PwnageTool 4.3, sn0wbreeze 2.5 has likewise been released for Windows-based jailbreak enthusiasts.
Just like the new pair of jailbreak tools from the iPhone Dev Team, this one is now untethered as well.
For those not familiar with sn0wbreeze, think of this basically as a Windows alternative to PwnageTool. Sn0wbreeze allows users to fully jailbreak their iOS device, and for the iPhone in particular, retain its current baseband so as to maintain its unlockable status.
This works with all iOS 4.3.1 devices – iPhone 4, iPhone 3GS, 3G iPod touch, 4G iPod touch, and iPad – except the new iPad 2.
Just a reminder. There’s no iPhone unlock available yet that works with iOS 4.3.1. So, if you rely on an unlock, it’s best to wait for the new ultrasn0w to roll out first before you upgrade to iOS 4.3.1.
That said, if you still want to give sn0wbreeze 2.5 a shot, just head on over here to get your copy of this untethered jailbreak tool.
