After Absinthe, it’s Snowbreeze’s turn to get treated with some iOS 5.1.1 untethered jailbreak goodness.

Snowbreeze version 2.9.4 has rolled out, which features some minor UI changes, bug fixes, and more importantly, support for iOS 5.1.1. However, do note that, unlike Absinthe 2.0, this updated Snowbreeze cannot jailbreak the new iPad. Heck, it can’t even jailbreak the iPad 2, iPhone 4S and 3rd gen Apple TV.

Why?

The reason: Snowbreeze is built around the limera1n exploit, which only supports A4-powered devices. That’s one huge drawback to Snowbreeze, and the upside to Absinthe since it works on both A4 and A5-powered iOS devices.

But hey, if the Snowbreeze jailbreak is more your cup of tea, then by all means, feel free to give this untethered jailbreak a shot.
