Ladies and geeks, I present to you the Sony Xperia E.
This one’s available as your standard single SIM phone and as a dual SIM treat, known as the Xperia E dual. SIM status aside, both Xperia E models sport a 3.5-inch touchscreen with a 3.2-megapixel cam (no front-facing cam), 3G connectivity, 4GB of onboard storage (2.2GB user-available), a1Ghz Snapdragon processor, and a 1530mAh battery to keep this ‘droid chugging while on the go.
The single-SIM Xperia E will come with Android 4.1 Jelly Bean already installed, while the Xperia E dual will run on Ice Cream Sandwich, upgradeable to Jelly Bean. Eventually. We hope.
ETA for this Xperia is Q1 of 2013.
No price yet, but given its modest specs, I’m pretty sure this one’s in the running for Sony’s most affordable Xperia to date.
