Yep, it’s now Sony Mobile’s waterproof LTE ‘droid’s turn to get served up some Jelly Bean goodness.
There’s no official announcement about this one though, but numerous reports confirm the Xperia V Jelly Bean update has indeed begun rolling out to users all across the globe.
But as is the case with most, if not all, Android updates, there’s no specific timetable when this one will hit local Xperia V ‘droids. And since the one here in the Philippines is exclusive to SMART, it might take a little longer than usual since, traditionally, updates for network-locked models are pushed out at a later time.
So like we always say, for now, just treat this as a heads up that Sony Mobile has released Jelly Bean for the Xperia V and it’s only a matter of time before this one makes its way to the Philippines.
