Sony SmartWatch coming in August for Php6K, LiveView now available at Ensogo for Php1.5K
For the record, this isn’t the company’s first touchscreen watch accessory. That title belongs to the LiveView, which came out sometime in 2010 back when Sony and Ericsson were still in good terms.
The Sony SmartWatch, however, will be the first one that’ll be officially made available in Philippines, and if they stay true to what they’ve already announced over on Facebook, this should be ready for retail come August for Php5,990.
Not a Sony Android phone user?
Don’t worry! This works with other Android phones too, not just the ‘droids from Sony (Ericsson). And you can clip anywhere you like too. It’s not limited to just being a watch.
I think the near Php6K asking price is reasonable enough, given what this little bugger can do, but if its price tag is still a tad bit too steep for you, you can go a little bit old school and just get the LiveView for just Php1,499.
Where?
At Ensogo! But hurry, ‘cause this deal ends this weekend. Check it out here.
What’s the diff between the two?
Aesthetics and UI aside, the SmartWatch comes with a multi-touch display. The LiveView doesn’t and can only be controlled via its frame. Also, I’ve read the SmartWatch provides a more stable connection to the phone too.
Got more questions that need answerin’?
Then head on over here to know more about the SmartWatch, or here if the LiveView’s the one that tickled your fancy.

Does anyone know if MotoACTV is already available here in the Philippines? I think it looks better than LiveView
