The title pretty much says it all. The Sony Xperia J is now available in the Philippines, making it just in time before the mad holiday shopping shifts to full gear.

How much?

It basically just took over the price point of its near twin, the Xperia neo L, when it debuted not so long ago. SRP of the Xperia J is Php12,490.

Just like the neo L, this too sports a 4-inch touchscreen, a 5-megapixel main cam, a VGA secondary cam on the front, 512MB RAM, Ice Cream Sandwich as its Android OS, and the usual array of wireless connectivity options (WiFi, Bluetooth, DLNA, HSPA). What’s improved here though, is that it now comes with a 4GB onboard storage and a 1GHz Snapdragon processor.

It’s not that bad, but with competition heating up in the mid-range market, the Xperia J sure has its work cut out for itself.
