Can’t say we’re surprised with this one. After sharing the good news that the Xperia tipo will be released in the Philippines, Sony Mobile assured everyone its entry-level Xperia sibling will also be hitting Philippine stores soon. And better, this one’s arriving next month!
Yep, that’s right, kiddos! The Sony Xperia miro is now confirmed coming to our local shores.
The Xperia miro, just to recap, sports a 3.5-inch touchscreen, a 5-megapixel main cam at the back, a secondary cam on the front, deep Facebook integration, DLNA support, xLoud tech, and Ice Cream Sandwich as its OS.
No word on pricing yet, but Sony Mobile did hint that it’ll “be among the most affordable phones from the new line of Xperia phones.â€
To date, the most affordable ‘droid in Sony Mobile’s 2012 line-up is the Xperia neo L at Php12,490. Will it be cheaper than that? Its specs sheet definitely says yes, but let’s try not to pop the champagne yet until everything’s finally official.
Anyway, we’ll have more on this (and the Xperia tipo) once we get word on its exact local availability and pricing.
