Well, well, well. We’ve now got 3 phones to look forward to this May – the Sony Xperia P, the Sony Xperia U, and the newest one of the pack, the Sony Xperia sola.

Sony Mobile Philippines has just confirmed its release in mid-May, complete with pricing info.

SRP of the Sony Xperia sola is Php16,990, landing it nicely between the Xperia U and the Xperia P.

Specs-wise, it’s just a tad bit better than the Xperia U. It sports a slightly larger touchscreen (3.7-inch vs 3.5-inch), double the onboard storage (8GB vs 4GB), comes with a microSD card slot for additional memory, and floating touch tech.

It doesn’t, however, come with a front-facing cam, which, for me, really isn’t much of a deal breaker, unless, of course, you’re really into video chatting.

So anyone plannin’ to queue up for this Xperia?
