Sony Xperia Tablet Z out now in Philippine stores

Yep, the Xperia Z’s 10.1-inch tablet sibling – aptly named the Xperia Tablet Z – not only made it to the country, but more importantly, is now available for retail in Philippine stores.

How much?

SRP of the 16GB Sony Xperia Tablet Z WiFi+LTE model is Php35,990.

Yeah, it’s pricey alright, but note, unlike most of the tablets out now, this one’s LTE ready and, just like the Xperia Z, is water-resistant too!

This 10.1-incher runs on a 1.5GHz quad-core processor, supported by 2GB of RAM, 32GB of onboard storage, an 8.1-megapixel Exmore R cam ‘round the back, a 2.2-megapixel shooter on the front, NFC, Bluetooth 4.0, DLNA and a gorgeous Sony Mobile Bravia Engine 2-powered 1920×1200 resolution display to play around with.

And if that’s not enough, this baby’s wickedly thin and light. Measuring only 6.9mm thick and weighing only 495 grams, this has got to be one of the thinnest and lightest, if not the thinnest and lightest 10-inch Android tablets out now.

Though yeah, I have to agree, that near Php36K price tag is a major turn-off.

So, who’s getting one?
