Though there’s still no specific release date yet, the newly announced Sony Xperia Z is all but officially confirmed coming to the Philippines, given the sheer number Facebook posts Sony Mobile Philippines has been upping for the last few days about the newest Xperia on the block.
And here’s one more thing we’re now pretty sure of – it won’t be long before the Xperia Z gets a taste of the newest variant of Jelly Bean, Android 4.2.
In a recent Q&A over on Twitter, product manager Lego Svardsater confirmed that, once released, the Xperia Z will then get Android 4.2.
While this point upgrade might not biring any groundbreaking new changes to Jelly Bean’s UI it will, however, intro several new treats, including the uber-cool Photo Sphere 360-degree panorama-on-steroids mode and Gesture Typing.
