There’s no denying it, we love us some Westone armature balanced earphones, and when I saw the Westone booth at CES, it was only natural that I flock to it. A live band was playing on the Westone booth which gave the booth a very endearing appeal. Demo units of various Westone earphones are scattered around the performing band and everyone was welcome to come up and listen to the band over the connected earphones. The sound quality did not disappoint.

I was given a brief rundown of their new products for this year. First in line were the new range of color choices for the entry level UM1 series. I’m not one to color coordinate my earphones (I’m usually fine with the standard black/silver colour), but I have to admit, the new colours were quite lovely. I was also given a small sampling of their new Adventure earphones, I was surprised that Westone went with dynamic drivers instead of the usual armature drivers. Fret not though, it still sounded awesome.
